2003 Annual General Meeting

 We are very excited to announce that Ms. Pamela Wallin, Canada's Consul General to New York and Commissioner for Bermuda will be our keynote speaker for the evening.  Ms. Wallin had a long broadcasting career before receiving this appointment in July 20002.  This is her very first visit to Bermuda in this role.  For more information on the Canadian Consulate in New York or Ms. Wallin, visit this web site:

Volunteers are needed.  The association is dependent on people like you who are willing to give their time and effort to help organize events and do all the other work an organization like this requires.  Consider getting involved -- whether by joining the board or volunteering in other ways.  Your contribution would be welcomed.  Please write to us by e-mail, if you would like more information before the meeting.

One amendment to the association's bye-laws has been proposed.  In accordance with those rules, members are hereby notified of this proposed change, to be voted on at the meeting:

• That in all clauses referring to the total number of Directors-at-large, that number be changed from seven (7) to nine (9).
  

Membership in the association costs $10 per year per person, and entitles you to discounts at most of our events.
