ASSOCIATION OF CANADIANS IN BERMUDA

C O N S T I T U T I O N
  1. Name


The name of the Association shall be ASSOCIATION OF CANADIANS IN BERMUDA (the “Association”).


  1. MANDATE


The mandate of the Association shall be:


  1. Hosting various Canadian themed events including an annual Canada Day event;

  2. Helping Canadians learn about living in Bermuda and Bermudian culture;

  3. Creating an on-line community based in Bermuda; and

  4. Building stronger business and resource links between Canada and Bermuda.


  1. Registered address


The Registered address of the Association shall be:


12 Church Street, suite 335

Hamilton, HM 11, Bermuda


4. Membership


Membership in the Association shall consist of Regular Members, Associate Members and Honorary Members as defined in the Association’s Bye-Laws.


5. Board of Directors


The affairs and business of the Association shall be managed by a Board of Directors.


6. Amendments


This constitution may be amended at any general meeting by a two-thirds vote of those present provided at least 7 days notice (electronically) or 14 days notice (mail or print) of the meeting at which the proposed amendment is to be presented has been given to the Membership prior to the Meeting.
